Bournemouth City Sightseeing
Use Bournemouth City Sightseeing bus this summer and catch all the history surrounding Bournemouth. Look at the beautiful views across our beaches to the Isle of Wight and Swanage. See the lovely Victoria buildings. Stop off and visit Hengistbury Head Nature reserve and walk down the spit to the Mudeford ferry. See the most expensive UK beach huts.
Bournemouth City sightseeing gives you the chance to use the bus as hop on hop off. Travel around on the first tour then decide where to hop off. Take in the shopping in Boscombe, Bournemouth and Christchurch.
Stop at Tuckton Tea cafe on the river, for a Dorset cream tea yum yum.
Take a boat trip from Christchurch as part of your day out, relax and enjoy the leisurely rock of the boat as you take in the sights from the sea
Bournemouth City Sightseeing bus stop at Boscombe pier just 5 minutes away from The Rosscourt.

Brownsea Island is National Trust owned and managed. The Island sits just off of Sandbanks, the 4th most expensive place to live in the world!!. A little foot ferry takes you from Sandbanks, or Poole Harbour, across to Brownsea Island. No cars are allowed as it is a nature reserve. Home to the red squirrel. These little creatures are sure hard to see but once you have had a glimpse they are irresistible and you are constantly scouring the tree lines for them. The island has a few little beaches to sit and enjoy a pic nic. The views are to die for. Just the most tranquil place to spend a day. Easy walking around, a small church and a farm area to look at. Peacocks around all the time.
Once you have explored, rested and feel the need for refreshment , the cafe is open for hot and cold food by the ferry area. There is also a small shop for gifts to bring back.
A perfect day out.

Massive Thank you
Thank you to all of our guests from October -December 2014 who left their losses change, bought pens and Olly Owls from us to help us raise money for the Wisdom Hospice in Rochester, Kent. Rosscourt has also been adding £1 per booking that was made in those 3 months
This is an establishment close to my heart as my Dad passed away here on 5th February 2007. The volunteers and staff were lovely, they gave comfort when needed. They were attentive to my Dad right to the end of his life. He spent 2 nights here being cared for 24/7.
The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice are constantly raising money through, quiz nights, fun runs, charity stall, sponsorships from supermarket etc. so we thought we would help.
We hope to raise another £150 by end of March 2015. Every booking made at the guest house since January 1st through to 31st March 2015, we will be donating £1 per booking again.
