Trevor and his team always start the festive season with a block buster show and if you haven’t seen it you should make sure you go tonight 20th December 2014.
I have seen That’ll be The Day in Bournemouth 16 times and have guests that cannot remember how many times they have been both here and in Chelmsford Essex.
50s 60s and 70s music and you will be up on your feet at the end guaranteed!!

Christmas At Beaulieu
Palace House ,home to the Montagu family since 1538 , is a place of enchantment at Christmas time. The lower drawing room will have carol singing around the grand piano for everyone to enjoy. Visitors can talk to the characters from the Victorian Times discovering what life “upstairs, Downstairs ” was really like . Enjoy a hot glass of punch. The splendid victorian-style decorations around the house and the magnificent Christmas tree in the upper drawing room add to the flavour and charm of the season
Take a stroll around the gardens and see one of the largest outdoor Christmas tress in the New Forest, adorned with seasonal decorations.
In the National Motor Museum the Victorian theme continues as visitors can see what it was like to drive in those days. World of Top Gear, 100 years of motoring, Veteran London bus and a monorail add to the excitement.
Gift shops and a restaurant mean a full day is needed to enjoy this attraction.

The Wisdom Hospice
We are helping to raise money for The Wisdom Hospice in Rochester, Kent.
Thirty years ago, The Wisdom Hospice opened its doors to the adults of Medway and Swale. The Wisdom Hospice was born out of need; a need for palliative care in the community.
This need was recognised by, among others, Consultant surgeon Peter Jennings and Chief Nursing Officer Ann Denholm from Medways new and innovative Symptom Control Team.
Terminally ill ,cancer patient, Molly Wisdom, was under care. She was so impressed by the new service that she vowed to raise funds for a hospice.
” If you can keep me alive until June, I will have 2 coffee mornings for you and raise £50″ said Molly in 1977 to her doctors. She wildly exceeded her modest goal and in her final seven months of her life raised the first £2000 for The Wisdom Hospice, named in her memory.
On the 31st October 184 Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edingburgh officially opened The Wisdom Hospice.
The team here looked after my Dad in his final days, after a year battling throat cancer. The staff were wonderful, caring and supportive to both my family and my dad. I have always supported The Wisdom Hospice but felt we could raise more money if we linked it to our bed and breakfast. We will pledge £1 for every booking we take until 31st December 2015. We are collecting loose change from our guests and selling pens, Olly Owls (their mascot) and key rings in the bed and breakfast.
Our goal is to raise £500 by 31st March 2015 then another £500 by the end of the year.
Over the last few weeks, our painters have been busy repainting the outside of Rosscourt Bed and Breakfast. We decided that coming up to 16 years old we would give ourselves a grown up feel. New logo, signs and a facelift. Really pleased with the effect. Looking now to put mood lighting on the facade , have winter baskets being made for us, will arrive next week. Would be great if we could have a really sunny day, blue skies just like summer so we can capture the house in its full glory.
Autumn and Winter in Bournemouth are great seasons, still plenty to do, shows to see, great walks. We are close to many National Trust properties who still open in the colder months. Shopping indoor and out. Cinemas and Casinos to enjoy. Great restaurants offering mouthwatering menus or just a chance to have a quiet drink. Chaplins , close to us have live music every night of the week. Steak night at Reef Encounter , 5 minutes walk from us £35 for 2 which includes a starter, steak and a bottle of wine, comes highly recommended. Call us for best deals to stay and enjoy the comforts of Rosscourt Bed and Breakfast
If you need a bit of TLC in an Adult only environment come and stay at The Rosscourt Bed and Breakfast .

The Bournemouth Balloon
If you have a head for heights, have always wanted to see amazing views from the air, then the Bournemouth Balloon is the ideal experience for you.
Set in the beautiful Bournemouth Gardens, the Bournemouth Balloon is run under sponsorship of Healthy Life. You get a fabulous ride up on the static wire (though it can be a bit breezy!)
Once up you can see the most spectacular views of the area. See the video on the Bournemouth Balloon website. This is also an ideal present to give someone as although it is weather dependent it isn’t so much as a proper hot air balloon that normally goes off at dawn or dusk , floating over the countryside or towns.
The gardens in Bournemouth are fabulous as well.
